Special Olympics Games Return to our area Saturday Feb. 6th. See downhill skiers and snowboarders compete in Kellogg at Silver Mountain Resort, while Nordic Skiers and Snowshoers compete in Mullan at Mullan High School

Movie Star Lana Turner was born in Wallace, Idaho Feb. 8, 1921. The town celebrates what would be her 100th birthday Feb. 8-15, 2021, dedicating a plaque in her honor at the site of her earliest public performance, the Liberty Theater Building at 515 Cedar St. in downtown Historic Wallace.
